Project
On behalf of our client, 6 Alpha was contracted to produce a Holistic Risk Assessment

 

Risks/Problem
The client was investigating the viability of erecting a significant high-rise structure on top of an existing building. The risk profile included construction, terrorism and security risks. These included; a probable increase in terrorism risk from the production of an iconic structure, and the potential risks to the trading floor of a nearby major financial institution.

 

Our Solution
We deployed a team of risk, construction safety and terrorism experts in order to produce a holistic risk assessment. By conducting detailed interviews with the stakeholders that were most likely to be impacted, we were able to identify the consequences of any potential Business Interruption event.  Importantly, we were able to produce a detailed terrorism and security threat assessment for the project, and to benchmark those risks with the other risks presented.
