Our extensive experience and proprietary risk assessment modelling in these areas has made us the consultancy of first choice for many commercial and governmental organisations operating both in the UK and globally. 6 Alpha comprises a number of market-leading specialists, including former Royal Engineer bomb disposal officers, geophysical and de-mining experts.
In the UK, recent legislation has led to a requirement for the construction industry to consider UXO risk when conducting intrusive engineering works. Elsewhere, the constant and growing demand for energy and natural resources has led to increased upstream energy exploration in post-conflict areas. Many of these previously untapped resources contain Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) contamination that may cause significant risks to crews conducting seismic, survey or drilling operations.
