  • EOD Engineers

    Qualified at Advanced level as former military “Bomb Disposal Officers” for onshore and offshore work.

    Description

    We are looking for individuals who have a strong business focus but also proven technical skills. You will need the ability to work on your own or as part of a team, under the guidance of our Operations Manager.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this role will be the execution and delivery of EOD on-site and/or offshore activities as directed by the Operations Manager. A high level of communication is required and you will be expected to produce daily and weekly progress reports and communicate with the client’s onsite/vessel team.

  • SprengG 20 Licensed EOD Engineers

    Licensed to SprengG 20 and Qualified at Advanced level as former military “Bomb Disposal Officers” for offshore work in UK and Europe.

    Description

    We are looking for experienced individuals who are SprengG 20 Licensed (or equivalent) for UXO investigation and disposal work in Germany and the Netherlands. Must be fluent in German/Dutch with good spoken and written English. Will need proven ability to work individually or as part of a team, under the guidance of our offshore operations manager.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities for this role will be the execution and delivery of offshore UXO investigation and disposal operations.  A high level of verbal and written English is required as successful applicants will be required not only to deliver a high standard of wok with an emphasis on safety but also, to produce daily and weekly progress reports and communicate professionally in English, in an offshore, multi disciplinary, multi national environment.

  • Trainee EOD Engineer

    6 Alpha require a Trainee EOD Engineer.

    Salary: £18.5k increasing to £20k

    Description

    6 Alpha wishes to employ a highly reliable, self motivated, trustworthy, and bright individual who is looking for a challenging and a rewarding long-term career, with an exciting company in a niche area of business-to-business delivery.  Previous experience is not required but energy and enthusiasm are! 

    The successful applicant must be willing to drive and therefore must also hold a full, clean driving license (and for insurance purposes they must also be least 21-years old).  Applicants must also be willing to work away from home anywhere within the UK during the working week (transport and local accommodation will be provided).  It is critical that prospective applicants are not only team players but they must also be willing to work outdoors, throughout the year.  

    A minimum period of 6-months’ probation will be required during which on-the-job training will be delivered by our more experienced members of staff.  Subsequently, accredited and recognised training will be offered, with at an internationally approved and independent training school.  

    Starting salary is £18.5k increasing to £20k, subject to successful completion of the probationary period and the formal training course.
